Loribaft rugs from Afghanistan….Like their Gabbeh counterparts our Afghan Loribaft rugs favour bright clear vibrant colours. Designs can be various. Tribal ethnic motifs are offered alongside stylised copies of classic Persian carpet designs. On the whole, because of the fine knotting Loribaft designs tend to be more sophisticated and detailed.
The construction is of a much higher standard than Gabbeh rugs. Far more knots per square inch allow for some intricate designs to be worked. Because of the investment in time and the skill of the weavers the quality of wool used in these rugs is invariably very high. Under close examination the woolen yarn is reflective and a glossy patina is evident in direct sunlight.
In keeping with the trend of categorising everything the Loribaft rugs creates its own niche. Contemporary, stylish, dramatic and outstanding quality.

RETURNS
Our rugs are delivered in a re-useable bag so returns are easy.
If you want to return a rug it's up to you to package it securely and arrange the return by courier. We make a full refund immediately when the rug arrives here in good condition.
If you would like us to make the collection arrangements using our courier service, we make a charge equal to the courier collection cost. It's usually no more than £20 for mainland UK. A bit more for Highlands, Island and Europe. This amount is deducted from the refund that we make on the rugs return.
