Afghan War Rugs.
Baluch and Tajik weavers have always produced pictorial carpets, It is quite common to come across rug designs with a perspective representation of a mosque or other majestic building. During the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan carpets began to appear featuring images of guns, tanks and helicopters. Most are highly stylised owing to the coarse nature of the weaving. These rugs have become collectors items these days. Some of these rugs are finely woven to the extent that it's possible to make out the precise make and model of the hardware.

RETURNS
Our rugs are delivered in a re-useable bag so returns are easy.
If you want to return a rug it's up to you to package it securely and arrange the return by courier. We make a full refund immediately when the rug arrives here in good condition.
If you would like us to make the collection arrangements using our courier service, we make a charge equal to the courier collection cost. It's usually no more than £20 for mainland UK. A bit more for Highlands, Island and Europe. This amount is deducted from the refund that we make on the rugs return.
