Buckingham Burgundy and Cream 

The Buckingham Range.

This is a tufted rug. The wool pile is about 1cms thick. It's very dense and this the Buckingham range very suitable for heavy wear areas. I have put these rugs into many commercial areas and had no problems with wear.

The designs can be described as Ziegler style and are very easy on the eye. In particular the softer colours are nice and mellow. Click each photo and go to the photo library of each rug. The close-up photos will show you the beautiful secondary colours used to work the design.

A very clever feature of Buckingham rugs is the way the tiny details in the design have been highlighted in silk yarn. It's a subtle design technique copied from the the amazing Persian Isfahan carpets that gives the rug a very sophisticated look.
